Microsoft Transportation Demand Management Tour

YPT hopped over to the Eastside to learn about how one of the region's largest employers reduces drive-alone commute trips and provides multimodal transportation options. YPT members got the full Connector shuttle experience with a chartered ride from South Lake Union to the Overlake Transit Center. At Overlake, we we given an overview of the variety of commute trip reduction services provided to Microsoft employees and had a Q&A session with transportation management staff. Afterwards, we were treated to a bus tour of the expansive Microsoft Redmond Campus and a stopover at the "Mixer" employee center. Following the tour, we were shuttled back to South Lake Union and shared a few happy hour drinks.
