Sound Transit Downtown Stations Guided Tour - 12/13/22

We closed 2023 strong with a tour from Sound Transit! Abel Pacheco took us around the International District/Chinatown and Pioneer Square stations as we discussed the Downtown Seattle Transit Tunnel transfer from King County Metro to Sound Transit, vertical conveyance, and more. We also got to see the beautiful Union Station, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and hosts Sound Transit offices. For safety reasons, we wore reflective vests and the ones that were available happened to say ‘Customer Support’ so our group received several inquiries from passengers - luckily our tour guide was able to help!
